I am afraid of my wife falling in love and another man taking my properties when I die - Nigerian man shares his concerns

A Nigerian man has shared his deepest concerns about what would happen if he dies.
According to him, he isn’t scared of his brothers coming to take over his properties if he dies because they are not trained to do so. He said his greatest fear is for his wife not to fall in love with another man who would now take over all that he had laboured for while he was alive.

Streets in Anambra deserted despite halt of IPOB

Streets in Awka, Anambra state are currently deserted despite the decision of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB to lift its sit-at-home order. The group had earlier announced plans to call for a sit-at-home order to protest the continued incarceration of its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

This would have disrupted the state’s governorship elected slated for November 6. However, on Thursday, November 4, the group announced its decision to halt the order.

Gunmen on Thursday night attacked Ukwulu in dunukofia local government area of Anambra State and Kidnapped man to an unknown destination.

“Though the victim’s name was unidentified, It was gathered that he was abducted around Ukwulu axis, in dunukofia Local Government Area of the state on Thursday, October 28.

The victim was said to be returning from a trip when he was accosted by the kidnappers while driving. His car was abandoned by the roadside”, an eyewitness said.

Police arraigns 38-year-old man for sending ‘seductive message’ to Ogun housewife.

A 38-year old man, Sikiru Oluwaseun Jamiu, was on Tuesday, dragged before an Ijebu-Ode Magistrate’s Court in Ogun State, for allegedly texting a seductive WhatsApp message to a housewife.

Jamiu was dragged before the court and charged by the police with misconduct in breaching peace in the marriage of one Mrs Opeyemi Adegbesan by sending a WhatsApp message to her on September 19, 2021.

According to a charge sheet, Jamiu sent a “Good Morning Babe” message through WhatsApp around 8.02 a.m. to Mrs Adegbesan who is a married woman.

In the perfection of her bail conditions, she is expected to produce two sureties in like sum with proper means of identification.
One of the surety must have a landed property in Abuja with a 3-year tax clearance and must deposit the certificate of occupancy of the property.
The defendant must also deposit her international passport with the court registrar, pending the conclusion of the trial.

Taiga is a former Director, Legal Services in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, and was alleged to have been a key factor in the fraudulent Gas Supply and Processing Agreement.
Justice Egwuatu, however, adjourned to January 17, 2022, for trial.
