A Ghanaian man has made a startling confession while on a live radio program after his wife accused him of defilling his step-daughter.
The man, who denied defilling his step-daughter said he never penetrated the girl but merely brushed the entrance or ‘tip’ of her private part.

The accused stated this while appearing on Kumasi-based radio Nhyira FM after he was dragged to the station by his wife who leveled the allegation against him.

Mkpuru Mmiri: Youths kill man found with hard drug in Imo

Youths on Friday reportedly killed a 27 year old man, Darlington Ugboaja, who was allegedly found with a drug, Methamphetamine, popularly known as Mkpuru Mmiri at Anara market, Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State.
The incident was said to have caused pandemonium in the market, as traders hurriedly closed and scampered for safety.

A source said the youths suspected the victim had gone to buy the drug and therefore decided to search him and found the drug in his pocket.
Angered by that, they pounced on him until he lost consciousness.

SON arraigns trader over fake forte engine oil

A Man identified as Chizoba was arraigned yesterday by SON before Justice Abimbola Awogboro on a four-count charge of producing fake engine oil, unlawful and fraudulent possession of SON’s mark of quality, Certification Number and Logo and fraudulently inscribed same on the adulterated and substandard engine oil he produced.

According to the prosecutor, Jaiye Olofindare, the defendant, a resident of No. 26 Olufemi Street Mosafejo, Ojo, Lagos, was arrested on July 16, 2021, at 25, Isoko Street, By Sunny Bus Stop, Ojo Lagos state, where he was allegedly producing the adulterated and substandard engine oil.

Olofindare also told the court that during the arrest, the defendant allegedly had in his possession SON Mark of Quality, Certification Number and Logo, which he inscribed on the adulterated and substandard oil he manufactured.
The lawyer also informed the court that the defendant failed to comply with the SON’s Conformity Assessment Programme (MANCAP) and also failed to have the requisite MANCAP’s certificate to produce engine oil.

Man machetes sister-in-law, two others to death in Ebonyi

A middle-aged man, Chibuike Ochie, has allegedly killed his sister-in-law, younger sister and a laborer in Uburu community, in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Ebonyi, Loveth Odah, confirmed the killings in a statement issued in Abakaliki on Monday.

Odah said that the incident occurred on Sunday in a farmland in Obegu, Uburu.
The police spokesperson said the man killed his sister-in-law, a younger sister and a hired labourer, who was working on their farmland.

According to her, it was reported that by 1640hrs of 24th of October, 2021, when the family of Ochie were in the farm including a hired labourer, one of their brothers, Chibuike Ochie, went into the farm and suddenly started macheting them.

“He succeeded in macheting Ogechi Ochie, 32, and wife of the elder brother and the younger sister, Margaret Ochie, 35 years old and the said labourer.
“The three persons were macheted to death on that farm and he escaped.
