Kanu should be executed severally for the people killed in Igboland if federal government is foolish enough to release him.

An ex-Niger Delta militant — Mujahid Asari Dokubo, has called for the killing of all members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in the South East over what he described as the destruction the economy of the South East with reoccurring sit-at-home orders.

Dokubo, in a live video on his Facebook page on Sunday, accused Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB of spearheading the destruction of Igboland.

He said “Kanu should be executed severally for the people killed in Igboland if federal government is foolish enough to release him.

Pastor Giwa: Buhari sees Kanu, Igboho as threats, will release them after 2023 polls

“They plan to release both Kanu and Sunday Igboho after the 2023 elections.

A popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor Adewale Giwa, has disclosed that the leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, will be set free by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration after the 2023 general elections.

The cleric also revealed that the known face of the agitation for Yoruba Nation, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, will equally be released from Benin Republic after the polls.

Pastor Giwa, who stated this during the weekend, said President Buhari’s administration saw the two agitators as a threat to the 2023 elections.

IPOB commends Abia High Court judgment on Kanu

“This judgment has, to some extent, redeemed the image of the Nigerian judiciary and we ask other judges involved in the IPOB matter to help salvage the battered image of judiciary in Nigeria in the eyes of their global colleagues in the judiciary.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), yesterday, commended presiding Judge of the Abia State High Court sitting in Umuahia, for his courage in declaring the military invasion of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s country home illegal.
It commended the court for granting Kanu justice at a time the Nigeria judiciary was losing the confidence of the people and the world due to compromised rulings.

In a statement issued by Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, IPOB also appreciated Aloy Ejimakor and his team of lawyers for securing the judgment in the matter.

Army ordered to pay N1b, apologise to Nnamdi Kanu for invading his house

Kanu also asked the court to rule that his re-arrest and torture in Kenya last year were illegal.

The Federal Government and the Nigeria Army have been ordered to pay N1billion to the Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu for invading his house in September 2017.

The High Court sitting in Umuahia, Abia state capital, also ordered federal government and the Army to apologise to Kanu for the violation of his Fundamental Rights.

Justice Benson Anya gave the order today, Wednesday while delivering judgement on the suit filed by Kanu against the federal government, the Army and others.

Recall that Kanu’s counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, had asked the court to declare the invasion of the IPOB leader’s Abia State residence in 2017 unconstitutional and an infringement on his constitutional rights.

Kanu also asked the court to rule that his re-arrest and torture in Kenya last year were illegal.

Political solution is still being pursued in Nnamdi Kanu’s case – Ekweremadu

Former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu has said that the South East Caucus of the National Assembly is still pursuing a political solution on leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu’s case.



Though President Buhari had earlier stated that Nnamdi Kanu who is currently in custody of the Department of State Services has a case to answer following the terrorism and treason charges filed against him, Ekweremadu in an interview with Dream FM, Enugu averred that political solution in the IPOB leader’s matter is still very feasible.

Nnamdi Kanu narrates how DSS forcibly extract blood from him

The leader of the proscribed indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB — Nnamdi Kanu has reportedly sued the Department of State Service — DSS over violation of his fundamental human rights.

In the new suit, Nnamdi Kano claims that an unknown medical doctor who is allegedly working for DSS has extracted his blood samples over 21 times.

He also said that the DSS has denied him access to medical facility and material for the practice of his religion.

IPOB Leader, Nnamdi Kanu May Get Bail Today — Here’s What We Know

According to reports, credited to a government lawyer, Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), may get a court arranged bail today, December 2. In a report, first published by NAN, government appears set to drag Kanu to Federal High Court on Thursday in a special session to fast track his bail.

There has been no official confirmation about this move. Besides, Kanu’s lead lawyer does not seem to be aware of it.
However, another Kanu lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor confirmed the hearing set for Thursday.
The last time Kanu was arraigned on 12 November, his lawyers staged a walkout and the case was adjourned till 19 January.
