Update: 14-Year-Old Househelp Who fled With Her Madam’s Son In Lagos Arrested In Ogun

A 14 year old house maid, Favour Iwuozor, was on 3rd of January 2022, arrested by men of Ogun state police command for abducting her boss’s 2 years old son.

Recall that on December 31, 2021, AMB shared the story of how the suspect fled with the victim on December 19. Moses Otojareri, the father of the victim who spoke to NAN said the suspect who was employed in the second week in November, fled with his son.

According to him, the suspect attended church service with his wife and their two children. His wife however received a call from one of her customers and she left the suspect and her children in church, instructing Favour to ensure they all return to her shop after church. Favour however fled with their son.

Man kills daughter, beheads neighbours’ corpses for failed money rituals in Ogun

Men of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested two suspected ritualists for unlawful possession of a fresh human head.

The suspects, Monday Karezu, 32, a national of Benin Republic, and Anagonou Kamelan, 44, a Togolese, were arrested at the house of a herbalist while attempting a money ritual.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, in a statement on Sunday, said the suspects were arrested on November 3, 2021, following information received by men of the Modus Operandi Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department.

Police arraigns 38-year-old man for sending ‘seductive message’ to Ogun housewife.

A 38-year old man, Sikiru Oluwaseun Jamiu, was on Tuesday, dragged before an Ijebu-Ode Magistrate’s Court in Ogun State, for allegedly texting a seductive WhatsApp message to a housewife.

Jamiu was dragged before the court and charged by the police with misconduct in breaching peace in the marriage of one Mrs Opeyemi Adegbesan by sending a WhatsApp message to her on September 19, 2021.

According to a charge sheet, Jamiu sent a “Good Morning Babe” message through WhatsApp around 8.02 a.m. to Mrs Adegbesan who is a married woman.

Ogun APC chieftain seeks reconciliation

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Armstrong Akintunde, has urged the newly elected Chairman, Chief Yemi Sanusi, to reconcile aggrieved members.

He gave the advice while speaking with reporters about the just concluded congress.

Akintunde said: “I urge Chief Sanusi and other executives to ensure that everyone is brought back under one umbrella in the state. Our strength truly lies in unity. So, those on the other side should come back and team up with the party and Governor Dapo Abiodun to lift Ogun State higher.”

Rufai who is regarded as one of the ‘big boys’ residing in the Lekki area of Lagos, was arrested on May 14 at the JFK airport in New York following his indictment in a $350,000 COVID-19 unemployment fraud in the United States.

In the viral video, the lady could be seen picking the denominations she wanted from the offerings dropped in the basket.

It is however unknown where the incident happened.
