Police arrest Oduduwa founder over death of OAU masters degree student, Timothy Adegoke. The founder of Oduduwa University, Dr Rahmon Adedoyin, has been arrested in connection with the death of an OAU student who came from Abuja to sit for his examination at the OAU distance learning centre, Moro, Osun State.

Adedoyin is also the chairman of Hilton Hotel and Resort, Ile Ife, where the deceased was said to have lodged upon his arrival from Abuja. He is currently in police detention, undergoing interrogation in connection with the case while awaiting the autopsy report from the hospital,’ the statement added. The police commended the university’s management and family of the deceased for giving a chance to investigate the matter, promising that justice will be served.

One killed as robbers attack two banks in Osun STATE

The robbers, who arrived the banks located within the same location around 3:50 pm, were said to have operated for about 15 minutes before leaving the scene.A student confirmed that the robbers were shooting sporadically into the air while escaping through Iree-Ada road.

Daredevil armed robbers on Thursday stormed two banks in Iree in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State killing a yet to be identified person believed to be a student of the Osun State Polytechnic located in the town.
