The Ohanaeze Ndigbo worldwide, an Igbo sociocultural association, has appealed to the Federal government to handle the rearrested leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, carefully as his death at a time like this could lead to the destabilization of the country.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, says 21-year old UNILAG Student Chidnma Adora Ojukwu, who was earlier today paraded for allegedly killing the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, Micheal Usifo Ataga, Conspired with some other persons who are currently now at large to carry out the crime.
A statement released by the spokesperson of the State Police Command, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Odumosu disclosed this while parading the suspect.
A case of murder was transferred from Maroko Division of the command to the State Criminal investigation Department, Panti Yaba, for discreet investigation.
The fact of the case is that, on 15/06/21 at about 1700hrs, One Chidnma Adora Ojukwu, a 300 level, undergraduate of the University of Lagos, conspired with others, now at large, and allegedly murdered one Micheal Usifo Ataga, m, 50, by stabbing him severally with a sharp object at a short Serviced Apartment, Situated at No 19, Adewale Oshin Street, Lekki, phase 1, Lagos.

The prime Suspect Chidnma who has earlier booked for the apartment on 13/6/2021 secretly, left the apartment after the deed has been done on 15/6/21 at about 1730hrs.

The suspect was tracked and arrested in her resident at No. 5, Akinwunmi Street, Alagomeji, Yaba-Lagos. During search, the prime suspect and mass communication Student of the University of Lagos, was caught with a blood- soaked cloth, ostensibly worn on the day of the incident.
The Suspect confess to have stabbed the deceased with a kitchen knife after a struggle. She further confessed to have taken the knife away while leaving the scene and dispose same in a dust bin at her residence.
It has also been revealed that the suspect equally stole the deceased iphone.
Investigation is ongoing to arrest other accomplices. However the case will be charged to court as soon as investigation is over.

Nigerian president Mohammed Buhari has assembled a reconciliation team to lead negotiations with Twitter, more than two weeks after the American social media Company’s operations was indefinitely Suspended in the West Africa nation.
The move came about after Twitter wrote to the President “Seeking to engaged with the Federal Government over the Suspension, “according to a statement on Tuesday.
The team Comprises some of Buhari’s top ministers, including Minister of Information Lai Mohammed who accused Twitter of “double standards,” when he first announced the Suspension.
A BAN OF PROSECUTION.
The announcement also coincided with a ruling by West African regional bloc ECOWAS barring the Nigerian government from arresting and prosecuting Nigerians and Corporate bodies for Circumventing the Twitter ban.
Nigerian authorities had ordered federal prosecutors to commence legal actions against violaters of the ban after many Nigerians Continued to send tweets using a virtual private network (VPN).
Twitter’s suspension and the planned government crackdown on users of the social media platform were swiftly challenged at a local court by a human rights body (SERAP).

The indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has fired back at South East Governors and other political leaders in the region for disavowing them and its security outfit, Eastern Security Network, ESN.
Accusing the political leaders of being quick to disown and betray their own in their quest to appease their slave masters, the group also alleged that it was political leaders from the region that proscribed them before the federal government tagged them terrorists.
IPOB which insisted that South-East political leaders “are too infinitesimal to speak for the millions of Biafrans who are tired of being held hostage in this contraption called Nigeria” added that they know they have since lost grip and control of the masses.
The group’s spokesperson Emma Powerful said that:
“The attention of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) ably led by our great leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has been drawn to the purported disowning and condemnation of IPOB and the Eastern Security Network, ESN, by the frustration South East Governors and few self- centered political leaders in the region.
“We are not however, surprised because they were the same people to proscribe us before the federal government tagged us terrorists.
“The Purported statements by these shameless political generals without foot soldiers has only further exposed them as Caliphate boot-leakers. They know too well that they have since lost grip and the control of the masses, hence, their desperation to regain the trust of their paymasters.
“The only Publicly disown IPOB thinking that doing so will make them regain the trust and the favour of the caliphate.
“To their shame, how many times have their Northern Counterparts disowned the bloody terrorist, bandits and Fulani herdsmen rampaging the Country?
